Friendly Visiting Volunteer
An easy and fun volunteer opportunity!
You can support your community by visiting an isolated older adult in their home. Whether you engage in conversation, play a game or pursue common interests – you’re time and company is appreciated. Depending on the client, you may be able to take them on outings such as drives, helping with errands or out for coffee.
It’s a wonderful way to brighten someone else’s day!
Not sure if you’re able to commit to a weekly visit? Become a Casual Friendly Visiting volunteer and help out on an as-needed basis: filling in for volunteers who are on vacation, visiting clients (short-term) with task-specific projects or assisting with events.
